Each pupil at Livingstone Academy will experience three Assessment Points each year. The Assessment Points allow pupils to showcase and celebrate what they know and identify any areas that need further development. In addition, we use the assessment outcomes to strategically plan subject specific intervention to help pupils know more and remember more over time.

The three Assessment Points take place during the following dates:

  • Assessment Point 1: w/c 30th September
  • Assessment Point 2: w/c 20th January
  • Assessment Point 3: w/c 28th April

Following each Assessment Point, pupils will receive a report highlighting their attendance percentages, achievement points, subject attainment and their subject attitude to learning.

Parent consultation evenings follow each Assessment Point, where parents/carers can come into the academy to meet with their child’s advisor/subject teacher to find out more about their progress. The parent consultation evenings will take place during the following dates:

  • 4th December – Primary, Year 7 and 8 with advisors
  • 5th December – Year 10 with subject teachers
  • 6th March – Year 9 with subject teachers
  • 26th March – Primary, Year 7 and Year 8 with advisors

To support pupils and their families through the assessment process, we have created a series of effective revision materials and resources. To access the resources, please use the following links:
